“Pacte-Fiancés”, a valuable and motivating weekend!

During the weekend of the 15^th and 16^th of February, we had the privilege to participate in “Pacte-Fiancés”. Beginning that Saturday at 10 am, we met with several engaged couples who were preparing for marriage.

It was a valuable weekend away, during which we were able to discuss various subjects, such as communication, spirituality in a couple, and much more. The themes were developed by three couples, motivated and motivating, married and at different stages in their marriages. Moreover, they relayed to us the desire to base our relationship above all else in the Lord.

We also took the time as couples to reflect on several relevant questions which we might not have necessarily thought about in this stage of our relationships.

What an encouragement on the one hand the testimonies of the married couples who care about supporting young couples engaged to be married, and on the other, to be able to share these moments with the other couples who are at the same stage as us!

We strongly encourage couples who wish to ground their relationship and future marriage on a solid foundation to take part in this weekend away when it is next offered. It really helped us to re-examine our goals as a couple.

In short, if you’re engaged, don’t hesitate to go ahead and try, it’s worth it!
