In July, Mission FPC connects with the Vosgiens

There are about 60 of us: Americans, Canadians, those from Burkina Faso, Germany… or France; young and not so young; men and women. All motivated to meet the Vosgiens and communicate the Good News of the Gospel.

Wearing apple green t-shirts with the 100% ConnecT logo the team sets up different stations at the beginning of the afternoon: games made of wood, face-painting for the children, balloon animals, photo-language, surveys on the theme of Connection. Manu Richerd takes out his guitar. SkyTouch illustrates with grace his songs of profound lyrics and which call out.

The places where we work are chosen by the participating Churches: at the port of Epinal, on the Place des Vosges, beside the lake at Longemer, at Remiremont and at Vagney… The group is superb and the strollers are numerous. The summer is a good time for relaxation and discovery. Discussions arise naturally with passers-by, available and open for an encounter.

These two weeks together are a beautiful experience of collaboration in the service of the Lord. This stimulates the faith of the participants, reignites hope for those who have lost hope and strenthens the ties between the Churches of the region.
