Mission FPC
Randy started in Tallahassee, Florida where I would have joined him if not for Hurricane Michel. The people there were greatly affected, but they also benefitted from the community spirit that arose. Randy received a warm welcome from Wildwood Church where we are considering new forms of collaboration for the future.
Currently, we are speaking to multiple evangelical churches in Paducah, Kentucky like First Baptist Church who sent a team last summer to help with 100% ConnecT. Next, we will pursue partnerships with multiple churches in Tennessee such as Englewood Baptist Church and Long Hollow Baptist in Hendersonville; a church who has already begun a relationship with the l’Église Évangélique in Bitche.
I will finish my journey in New Jersey where I will preach to different churches such as Grace Community Church in Franklin Lakes, Green Pond Bible Chapel, and Montclair Community Church before returning to France.
A trip such as this has certain objectives:
– Reinforce our American brother and sisters in their understanding of the missionary need in France and participate in their edification
– Mobilize intercessors and new collaborators for our country
– Provide Americans a space to test their missionary call in the context of our PASS program with FPC
– Motivate their discovery missionary trips
– Create partnerships between French and American churches which will benefit them both
– And to glorify God who, by grace, made a family in Christ for his followers who come from all nations
I am profoundly thankful to Randy and Jan Kent for their remarkable commitment along with the numerous churches who showed great hospitality and great unity.
