Alliance Pour Christ (APC) Meeting

The Alliance Pour Christ (APC) meeting took place this past November 3rd and 4th. Taking place over a weekend, this is THE annual meeting of all the elders within our union APC. We were about 50 people.

It’s short, it’s intense, but it feels good! At no other point during the year is there an event dedicated to the elders of our churches.  Yet, they serve voluntarily with great energy and perseverance for their church. Each understands the difficulty of finding the balance between family, work, and ministry. That is why we need to meet and share about what we face during the year.

In recent years, APC’s meetings have been devoted to structuring discussions of the union. This time, our president Roland Frauli, addressed the theme of the ministry of women in the Church.  We profited from times of communion and sharing.   It was also a time to grow our sense of community.

APC’s Meeting is also an opportunity to hold our general assembly. Three pieces of exciting news to note:

•  APC has a new logo

•  The churches in Charleville, Lens, and Malagayte have joined the union

•  APC’s meeting will take place in Reims in 2019. For our union of churchescoming alongside a new church plant is like attending a birth, a cause for celebration. We wish to support this project by our presence and our prayers.

We lived very concretely the synergy with FPC =)!

The general opinion was that this weekend was a success. This was also my first big event as the part-time coordinator.
