The idea was to allow the members of the neighborhood and members of the cultural association “Le Centre Évangélique Protestant” to meet. The weekend, geared toward their hobbies and profession, proposed different interactive workshops.
Thus, the young community had a chance to learn about electrical engineering. The adults, who have already earned their license, could test their knowledge of current road rules. During the painting expo, Brigette hosted an art (Gelli plate) workshop.
Christina, a student from Brake Bible Institute in Germany, supported us in this effort. She went and met with young people showing them card tricks and to talk. A couple from “L’Église évangélique in Bitche” also lent us a hand. Jean-Jacques proposed a photo-based game workshop: a series of 50 images accompanied by several simple questions to discover the beliefs of participants and to speak with them.
A toast to friendship with traditional Bredeles – little Alsatian Christmas cakes – were offered to visitors. Everyone appreciated these shared moments and friendship.
