Chaumont and Dole Churches Come Together for a Weekend of Encouragement

On June 15^th and 16^th, churches from Chaumont and Dole, who are a part of the group APC, met for a weekend together. It was an opportunity to strengthen the relationships within each church and to get to know one another.

We arrived late Saturday morning in the pretty village of Salives (Côte-d’Or). On the agenda, there were: meals, songs, games, followed by time for rest. Micaël Gelin, the speaker for the weekend gave us his testimony. That evening, he encouraged us to recognize the importance of the local Church as a medium of change in our lives. We were able to discuss in small groups our need for each other in order to spread Christ’s Word.

The following day, Micaël, reading from the prophet Haggai, called us to make God the priority of priorities!

The weekend came to an end after a good meal and relaxation in the sunshine, between a game of volleyball and discussion over coffee.

An encouraging time for both Churches!
