Christmas afternoon scheduled in Reims …

Our team decided to offer an outdoor Christmas workshop in a municipal park. An opportunity to meet the residents of a neighborhood where several people from the team live.

The objective would have been to serve the people of this district and especially to listen to them in order to discover who they are. Part of the planning included going to the town hall and the authorities to discover how to make this work in Reims.

Unfortunately, the sub-prefecture advised against our holding the workshop because of the health situation. So we gave up our outside DIY workshop and storytelling. In its place we would give away what we will have made as a team, along with an envelope containing a Christmas story to be read on December 24th.

On D-Day, we encountered few people in the park, due to the gloomy weather. Nevertheless we shared good times with those who were present. And as for the team, it allowed us precious time together during meals and the DIY workshop we held between us.We have our eyes and hearts open to discern how God wants to use us in Reims.
