Mission FPC

What will the FPC Mission be like in 2045?

From January 27 to 29, the mission team gathered in Drulingen. Under the guidance of Élisabeth Nussbaumer, a specialist in leadership and coaching, the team engaged in a collective reflection on the Mission France Pour Christ, its roots, and its future.

The work began with a listening session of the founder members through rich interviews. We listened to those who have brought the mission to life for decades, to understand what they believe most defines its culture and what it should never forget.

Based on these insights, we collectively introspected to identify our conscious and unconscious roots, our strengths, and our blind spots. Through collective intelligence, shared discussions, directed conversations, and various intuitions, we then “dreamed” of what France Pour Christ would look like in 2045! What will we look like in 20 years? What will God have accomplished through FPC? Who will be the new harvest partners? The methods? The objectives? So many unknowns… but also so many subjects to lay at the feet of our tender Father.

Just as yesterday was different from today, tomorrow will be too. We wanted to attune ourselves to the Creator to plant churches according to His plans, not ours. These few days spent together, thinking and praying, were an essential step to successfully navigate the turns that the Lord will lead us to take in the future.

A big thank you to Élisabeth, who skillfully guided these rich moments and facilitated reflection through various and playful exercises, always engaging and participatory.

We look forward to seeing God act over the next 20 years and discovering His plans for FPC… and more broadly for the mission in France.
