Mission FPC
You may have just finished high school, are in college or university or even already gotten a degree. You have sensed God’s call to mission, but are not quite sure about how to proceed.
You sense that you are at a turning point in your life. You are asking yourself questions about your faith, your understanding of God, yourself or your abilities.
And even if getting involved in the ministry appeals to you, you wonder if it is a good option for you, if you’re really ready to go full time.
Will this be the right ministry? The right assignment? Will I be able to manage? Is this really my place? What will my life be like?
And perhaps many other questions that missionary involvement can raise in your mind!
It’s quite normal.
Do you want to take the leap of putting your faith into practice, while being supported and encouraged?
Do you feel deep inside you the desire to be able to put your faith into practice, to grow in your relationship with God by being at His service? Do you want more? Do you want to participate in His work – very concretely?
If you have these kinds of thoughts in mind, then you have come to the right place.
We have created a program adapted to this period of your life. A program where you can envision your future. One where you can experience missionary work for yourself. One where you can have a friend who walks with you when it’s complicated.
This program is the Pass program.
By integrating into a missionary team for a while, you can try out missionary service and deepen your relationship with God while being mentored.
Studying the Bible, praying, learning, growing, are daily objectives, integrated into your “work schedule”.
A change of rhythm, living conditions, activities… In a few months or a year, a lot can happen!
There is a real “before/after” with the Pass. In any case, that’s what Joël experienced during his Pass with the FPC Mission.
Like him, you can actively participate in projects alongside a team.
That is to say, develop your skills, fellowship with your teammates, but also closely experience the challenges and learning of the group.
You will also see God at work in all kinds of situations and draw closer to Him.
Also, throughout this period, you have a mentor from your team – a more experienced missionary. Your mentor will help you to sort through your questions, develop your abilities or work on character development.
But listen to people who have experienced this immersion in the ministry.
We leave you now in good company with the Lens team: Joël and Allan who did the Pass, and their mentors Benji and Manu.
