The church of Châlons, a new member of APC, hosted the meeting in their perfectly adapted premises! The Church of Charleville came although Christians from Hirson traveled the longest distance to be at the meeting by 10:30 a.m.! The Reims implementation team also took part.
On the program for the morning: praise, prayer, meditation, teaching. A special children’s program was also offered in the morning and afternoon.
The aim of the meetings was to reflect on the functioning of the Church as a family, the marvelous family of God. Alain and Christopher, using their testimonies and thoughts on key biblical texts, reminded us that grace is the basic principle in the family of God.
We all shared a meal, followed by a relaxing break: petanque (bocce), volleyball, games for children and discussions.
During the dessert, each congregation as well as the University Evangelical Foyer was able to briefly tell what the Lord is doing in their midst. We took time for this period of relaxation and exchange. Then it was time to tidy up.
The Spirit of God is creating strong brotherly relationships, so good for the growth of the body of Christ!
A very special thank you to our leader, Alain Stirnemann who initiated the project. This was his last act of service for the Reims hub, before moving to the future Metz hub.
May God build His Church in these two regions that we hold close to our hearts.
