Mission FPC

TWO CULTURES, ONE GOD, A SINGLE GOSPEL FOR THE WHOLE WORLD

Thanks to the initiative of our ambassadors Jan und Randy, a small delegation (6 brothers and sisters aged between 20 and 60) from Long Hollow Church in Nashville, Tenessee, were on a visit to France.

They spent the weekend with an FPC team in order to become better acquainted with the Mission and the church planting project in Metz. We from FPC were quite amazed how God has caused this church to grow and how they were all involved in serving the Lord.

Long Hollow Church regularly offers its members mission trips to enable them to discover the local reality on the ground and to reflect on the possibility of a future partnership in the work of God’s kingdom. Dany, Jérémie, Alain and Philippe gave short presentations on various aspects of the work, followed by plenty of sharing and discussion. Jeannot was able to present the use of art as a means of evangelism.

The visitors from the USA were put up in the Mission base in Drulingen and enjoyed Claude and Samuel’s cooking. During their stay we discovered how much humour this team from the States had!

They spent the whole of Sunday in Metz and participated in the church service of the church planting team, shared a meal with them and were given a guided tour of the city by the Rapp family.
