Several In-Depth Days in the Lippe Region of Germany

The Annuel Youth Missions Conference in the Lippe Region of Germany was held in Detmold in the middle of March. We had been there for the first time in 2023 and this year we were again able to represent the FPC mission with an info-stand on the spiritual situation in France.

On the Friday evening we were most surprised to see that no less than 1,100 young people had turned up for the meeting. We saw some familiar faces from last year and when they saw us they came over straight away and we were able to share our experiences over the past year. Several had been praying for us. We added some new contacts to the good ones made a year ago and are already looking forward to next year!

On the Friday morning we had the opportunity to present the work of church-planting in France at a meeting with the students of Brake Bible School.

We were given a warm welcome at Christina’s church in Detmold, where Alain reported on the mission and preached the Sunday sermon. Midday we took part in a language café in French, and in the afternoon the church in Paderborn held a seminar on grieving led by Alain.

The fellowship with the saints over this long weekend was a great encouragement for which were most grateful.
