Mission FPC
Twice a year, we organize a prayer gathering intended to support and advance the work of FPC in the area. The group assembled – in Épinal on March 13th and in Drulingen and Douai on the 15th – with sixty people in total from our network, those who care about the mission and pray for it.
Participants were given a paper, on which each missionary team indicated their concerns, prayer requests and things they are thankful for. They also had the opportunity update us on the needs of their respective churches. In this way, we could pray for and encourage one another.
These days of prayer are an important moment in the life of the mission, necessary to keep informed and mobilize. They are precious in that they “move the hand that moves the world.” Because we believe, as Oswald Sanders once said, “Missionary work has always advanced on one’s knees. Where prayer has prevailed, things have moved. When prayer is lukewarm and weak, the work is frozen.”
Thank you to everyone for your involvement! Join us for the next days of prayer in October 2018.
