100% Connected Begins an Operation for Theater-Lovers

For the 2019 gather, the 100% Connected camp invites you to join its theater group, created especially for the occasion, under the leadership of a real director.

The group will consist of 8 to 12 people who will prepare an original piece during the first week of camp. The premier of the performance is scheduled for July 23^rd in Bitche, then two more performances follow in Amnéville on July 25^th and 26^th. The performances won’t have props or a stage, just actors in the middle of their audience. Our objective is to offer audience members, through excerpts of the Old and New Testaments, a discovery of the Bible story and the Good News of Jesus Christ.

“It’s a very intense experience, an immersion in the Gospel, a learning opportunity. A very accessible concept that leaves no one indifferent, neither actors nor audience members. The message is delivered in a sober, moving, and striking way, and scenes are performed in the heart of the audience. There are a lot of key moments of unity within this group of theater-lovers, ranging from 14 to 64 years old! It’s an experience and a message that we have reflected on and which continues to live with us for a long time after… In short, it’s an experience that leaves a mark!” -Agnes, who participated in a similar project called Marc l ’Experience.

During this experience, I “lived” the Word. Acting in the middle of everything allows a closeness between the biblical text and the audience.
