Mission FPC
This annual event cleans the house that serves as the seat of the FPC Mission. We have washed and cleaned (in every room) the windowpanes, the windows, the floors, the doors, the baseboards, and have polished all the wooden furniture, too.
We welcomed with joy the many people who participated for the first time in all this housework. It gave us the opportunity to know more of each other, to share our stories, and encourage each other while working. It is in this same convivial atmosphere that we shared coffee cake and lunch together. Thank you to all the volunteers who contributed in this way to the life of the Mission and the advancement of God’s work.
This large and grand house was bequeathed to the Mission in 1986 by Mrs. Weil, the widow of a doctor and a doctor herself. It welcomes missionaries and their families for mission-related events or for vacation time. Weekend events organized by APC Churches also take place here. The house has 11 rooms spread over 2 floors, with bathrooms on each floor. On the ground floor is a room adapted for guests with reduced mobility, toilets, the FPC offices, as well as a dining room, a kitchen, and a meeting room.
Don’t hesitate to contact Samuel Glaser, head of guest reception and house maintenance if you would like to volunteer either periodically or more regularly.
